FFAC Recap: Week 6 - Did you miss me?
Honestly I wish I had a better excuse as to why the podcast and recaps have been AWOL for a couple of weeks but I don't. I have, however, missed writing these and maybe you have missed reading these because while doing all this is definitely a bit of work, it's mostly fun to do.
Also I recorded a solocast for this week here ya go:
Speaking of Fireball, he had the biggest blowout win last week against Ryan. It was a 35.32 victory, which shows how close pretty much all the games were. With that loss Ryan fell out of the top 6, which we'll get to in this recap. Fireball sits in 3rd overall.
MJ's team finally scored a nice amount of points, but Adam edged him out by 2 points. Both were 1-4 heading into that match so it was pretty critical to get a win there to stay realistically alive, although mathematically MJ's still in the race. If Adam can go on a bit of a run here the makeup of the top 6 changes.
Jack popped off in Slack and then lost to Cody. Also, sorry about the Mahomes injury, Cody.
The Jay and Zach matchup was interesting because both of them have been very inconsistent this season, but this time around Jay had the good week and Zach just had an ok one. Both are 3-3.
Ben had a bit of a down week, but it didn't matter because it was Stefan's down week (Stefan has truly been back and forth, good score, bad score, good score, bad score). Stefan has been a BIT of a victim to unfortunate matchups, but also, can't be scoring less than 90 points every other week.
